13.01.2025

Ekaterina Belova, Chief Specialist in the Technical Control Department of NWPC (a member of Acron Group), won the All-Russia Mentoring Contest, which was part of the Mentor Festival.

The event brought together 50 talented mentors and 50 representatives of the best mentoring practices from 44 regions of Russia. A total of 24,000 applications were submitted for the contest. Ms Belova received the winner’s diploma in the ‘Mentor at Industrial Site’ category, as well as certificates for participation in mentoring training programmes.

Ms Belova commented: ‘For me, mentoring is not just training, but a way of communicating based on trust and partnership. I like the phrase “the best way to preserve knowledge is to share it with others”. It is rewarding to see others use knowledge in new ways, develop professionally and achieve success. The main motivation for me is to be a mentor!’

NWPS introduced the mentoring programme in 2024 to address both operational and strategic issues, from introducing uniform working standards to preserving knowledge and experience, increasing employee commitment and engagement, and creating conditions for positive competition.
