North-Western Phosphorous Company (a member of Acron Group) and the Murmansk regional administration have signed a social and economic partnership and co-operation agreement for 2026–2028, which will address priority social and economic issues in the region.
Governor of Murmansk region Andrey Chibis, Acron Vice President Vladimir Kantor, Acron CEO Vladimir Kunitsky, and NWPC CEO Evgeny Sozinov attended the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, NWPC will invest over RUB 500 million in the social infrastructure of Murmansk region. More than RUB 100 million will be allocated to improving the Teriberka Nature Park. Around RUB 400 million will be spent on developing sports infrastructure and upgrading cultural and social facilities in the city of Apatity. NWPC will work closely with the regional administration to enhance the quality of life for Apatity residents and create a modern, comfortable urban environment.
Acron Vice President Vladimir Kantor said, ‘This agreement is a strategic investment in the future of the region where our employees and their families live and work. Since its foundation, NWPC has invested over RUB 2 billion in the social and economic development of Apatity and Kirovsk. We recognise the importance of our contribution to the region’s development, and we will continue supporting social initiatives to create a comfortable environment for Murmansk region’s residents’.
Governor Andrey Chibis said, ‘I would like to thank Acron Group and NWPC for their dynamic production activities and substantial contribution to the development of Murmansk region and especially Apatity, where most of NWPC’s employees work. We consider it vital that the company allocates resources not only to production but also to improving quality of life’.
