North-Western Phosphorous Company Is Key Partner of Children’s Scientific and Engineering Projects Competition

On 20 December, the final stage of the KvantoArktika scientific and engineering projects competition was held at the Kvantorium-51 children’s science park, located at the Lapland Murmansk regional supplementary education centre. NWPC was a key partner of the event.

The annual KvantoArktika competition provides an opportunity for students of the Kvantorium-51 children’s science park to show off projects, and design and modeling skills.

Competitors received team assignments devised by leading enterprises in Murmansk region. NWPC employees created a case study asking students from the high-tech unit to develop a conveyor complex to transport ore.

All finalists received branded gifts from NWPC CEO Vadim Ryazantsev.

An Agreement on Cooperation was executed by Kvantorium-51 and NWPC. Under this document, mine’s representatives take part in development of educational programmes, taking into account the company’s scope of activity.
